Although it may feel like late spring early in the afternoon, on occasion temperatures do fall into the chilly 50s and 60s this time of year — and we Floridians take such an event  seriously. This presents a unique opportunity to embrace a winter wardrobe that incorporates a variety of more seasonal fabrics that our northern counterparts have been wearing since September. Layering heavier pieces of wool, cotton, and velvet (for those days we’re feeling fancy) with lighter garments allows us the flexibility to embrace comfort in a polished ensemble. It offers a look that is put together and at ease, all at the same time.

Though we may not be fighting the snow as we dress for a variety of occasions, this Sunshine State’s mood-swinging climate is sure to keep us on our toes.

Jet-set Staples

When your day’s itinerary takes you from TPA to JFK, knowing what to wear can be a challenge. But in addition to staying warm, remember that your airport style should never sacrifice comfort and ease.
